Why Fendi’s Spring 2026 Bags Are Pure Joy (And I Want Them All)
This season at Milan Fashion Week, Silvia Venturini Fendi unveiled her first solo Spring collection since Kim Jones’ departure. And what a statement it was. Bold, playful, and full of detail, the Fendi Spring 2026 handbags prove that the house is leaning into creativity with confidence. From revamped Peekaboos to sparkling Baguettes and even cozy knit textures, Fendi is reminding us why it remains one of the most exciting luxury brands in fashion right now.
Every season there are a few fashion moments that make me want to drop everything, run to the nearest boutique, and start plotting how to add a new bag to my collection. For Spring 2026, that brand was Fendi. Their runway handbags are playful, unexpected, and downright joyful—each one feels like a little work of art.
And honestly? I want them all.
✨ Peekaboo Magic: Hidden Sparkle and Slouchy Softness
Let’s start with the Fendi Peekaboo bag, which is basically the star of the show. Fendi took the iconic silhouette and pushed it further this season.
Some Peekaboos look calm and elegant on the outside, but when the flap folds slightly open, sequins peek out like a secret party happening inside. It’s the ultimate “peek” in Peekaboo. My first thought is sequins on the inside would be impractical—catching on things or scratching your hands—but on second look it seems like sequins sit mostly on one panel, while the rest of the bag remains smooth and usable (at least thats what it looks like on the pictures but we will have to wait and see for the bags to come out). It looks very playful without sacrificing function.
There’s also a soft, slouchy Peekaboo that looks like a dream to carry. The leather sags in the best possible way—like it wants to curl into your arm. I can already imagine this being my everyday bag, except it secretly hides a little sparkle.

🌼 Plush Flowers and Daisy Charms Come Alive
One bag that had me gasping is the fur daisy bag. At first glance, it looks like someone took a plushy and attached it on the side of the bag. The 3D flower almost doesn’t look real; it's fluffy, tactile, and completely over the top in the best way. It’s whimsical, but still polished in that Fendi way.
And then come the charms—playful little details that instantly change the mood of the bag. The egg charm in particular feels tongue-in-cheek and surreal, like something from a Fendi dream world. They’re quirky, fun, and a little cheeky, the kind of accessories that spark conversation every time you wear them.

🌸 Cut-Out Florals & Outside Beading
Fendi also played with cut-out flowers on a smaller Peekaboo. The effect is striking—delicate petals carved into the leather, almost like lace, but sturdy enough to carry. Then there’s the outside beadwork: instead of beads hidden or embroidered within, they’re layered on the surface of the bag. It feels more sculptural, almost like carrying wearable art.

🌈 Bright Colors Done Right
Spring always brings color, but Fendi’s Spring 2026 handbags are especially irresistible.
- A bright yellow Peekaboo that feels like sunshine in bag form.
- A sky-blue version that’s soft, slouchy, and dreamy.
- Jewel tones and deep reds that anchor the palette.
The way these bags sag and soften makes the brights feel approachable, not loud.

💖 Playful: Fur, Beads & Sequins
One of my personal favorites: the pink fur Peekaboo with colorful beadwork hidden inside. On the outside, it’s soft and fuzzy—almost toy-like—but when it folds open, tiny beads peek out in unexpected colors. It’s cheeky, luxurious, and so Fendi.
And of course, the sequined and beaded Fendi Baguettes. The floral motifs on some versions are breathtaking, turning the Baguette into a sparkling bouquet. They’re bags, yes, but also collector’s pieces.

🧶 Cable-Knit & Woven Textures
The cable-knit bags are another highlight—like carrying your favorite sweater in bag form. But Fendi also surprised with woven textures this season. Some looked almost like a nod to Bottega, while others leaned softer and mesh-like. Either way, they added depth, warmth, and a lot of character.

Some of Fendi's New Designs
It was exciting to see some new handbag shapes this season as well, beyond the Peekaboo and Baguette. There were several new styles that felt fresh yet still very Fendi. The use of beads, sequins and playful details carried through all the designs, making each one feel special.

Some of My Other Favorites
There are just too many bags I love from this collection, so here are a few more that caught my eye. The floral details, beadwork, and unique shapes make each one stand out in its own way.

💬 My Final Thoughts
The thing about the Fendi Spring 2026 handbags is that they don’t feel like just accessories—they feel like little personalities. Some are sparkly and mischievous, others soft and huggable, others playful with plush flowers and beads. Together, they show Fendi at its most confident and creative.
Are they practical? Maybe not all of them. Do I care? Absolutely not. Fashion is about joy, and these luxury handbags deliver it in sequins, plush fur, cut-out flowers, beadwork, knits, and saggy slouchy leathers. I can’t wait to see them up close—and hopefully add at least one to my collection.
But honestly? I want them all. 💖
